5 Kilometer Race along the sceanic Tomebamba river in Cuenca’s historic center.The purpose of the race is to raise money to rejuvenate CEDEI libraries in a theme of language acquisition.

An International Annual fundraiser is planned for 2011 is to conduct an online auction. This auction would offer curiosities collected in the Cuenca area, Ecuador in general, and from International programs. It is foreseen that funds raised would be used for library enhancements.

Also, an annual appeal Cuenca community gala will be a night full of music, dancing, and games. It is foreseen that funds gathered would be used for libraries and general improvements.
